A statement by the Royal Court announced that Prince Saud bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet, Adviser to and Special Envoy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Supervisor of Foreign Affairs, passed away in the United States of America today (Thursday) 22/9/1436 corresponding to July 9, 2015. The statement notifies that funeral prayers for his soul will be performed at the grand holy mosque in Makkah on Saturday following Isha (evening) regular prayer on Saturday corresponding to 24/9/1436 H. The Saudi people, the Arab and Islamic nations as well as the world at large are well aware of the great work the deceased has offered over five decades to serve his religion, homeland and nation with utmost devotion and sincerity at the expense of his personal health, the statement added, appealing to Allah almighty to reward him a comfortable place in paradise for the good deeds he has done for his religion and nation.
