The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a cable of condolences to President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt following the terrorist attacks that targeted a series of checkpoints in Sinai. In his cable, the King said, "We have learned with deep pain and sadness the news of the terrorist attacks that targeted a series of checkpoints in Sinai in your sisterly country which resulted in casualties and injuries, including a number of members of the Egyptian Armed Forces. As we condemn these heinous criminal acts that are considered among of the greatest crimes in Islam for being the crimes of injustice and sinful aggression, corruption in the land, killing safe people and aggression on the security, stability and lives of secure people; we affirm to Your Excellency the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's stand with your sisterly country in confronting whatever targets Egypt's security and stability. And we, in the name of the Government and people of the Kingdom, offer to you, the families of the victims and the Egyptian brotherly people our deepest condolences, praying to Allah Almighty to bestow mercy upon the deceased, wishing the injured people a speedy recovery, and praying for the protection of sisterly Egypt and its dear people from any harm."
