The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the Cabinet's session at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah on Monday evening. At the outset of the session, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques briefed the Cabinet on the phone call made between him and President Nursultan Nazarbayev of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and his meeting with the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for the Arab States Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al-Zayani. In his statement to Saudi Press Agency, Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Adel bin Zaid Al Toraifi said the Cabinet reviewed the latest developments and events in the region and the world, re-affirming the Kingdom's condemnation of the terrorist bombing which occurred in Imam Al-Sadeq Mosque in the State of Kuwait and which resulted in killing and wounding a number of innocent people, stressing that this terrorist act is contrary to all Islamic values and principles, expressing its condolences to the government and people of the State of Kuwait and the families of martyrs, praying to Allah Almighty to bestow mercy upon the deceased, and wishing a speedy recovery for the injured people. The cabinet condemned today's terrorist bombing which targeted the Attorney General of the Arab Republic of Egypt Hisham Barakat and led to his death, expressing deepest condolences and sympathy to the Arab Republic of Egypt's government and people and to the family of the deceased, praying to Allah to have mercy on him and to inspire his family patience and solace. The Cabinet condemned the terrorist attack on a hotel in Sousse in Tunisia and the terrorist act that took place near the French city of Lyon, considering such acts as terrorist crimes contrary to all values and moral principles, expressing its condolences to the governments and peoples of both countries and the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured people.
