Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at local, regional and international arenas. Al-Watan, Al-Madinah and Al-Riyadh newspapers commented on the terrorist act in Kuwait, saying the elimination of terrorism is not an act carried out by only governments without the help of their peoples, stressing that all members of the society should unite as the issue is related to the lives of innocent citizens and anyone may be exposed to harm by an act of sabotage. The papers indicated that the fight against terrorism intellectually is more important than the military combating, as the intellectual extremism is the origin of terrorism, which is the most insidious one of its branches.
