Guerrero Hat-Trick Leads Peru to Copa America Semi-Finals

A hat-trick from veteran striker Paolo Guerrero led Peru to a 3-1 win over Bolivia Thursday in the quarter-finals of the Copa America, to set up a semi-final with hosts Chile.
A stellar Guerrero, 31, currently at Brazilian club Flamengo, proved a nightmare for Bolivia's weak defense and scored in the 20th, 23rd and 74th minutes of the match in the southern Chilean city of Temuco, dpa reported.
Marcelo Martins scored Bolivia's goal from the penalty spot in the 84th minute of play.
