U.S. Defense Secretary Meets with Norwegian Defense Minister

U.S. Defense Secretary Ashton Carter met with Norwegian Defense Minister Ine Eriksen Soreide at the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Defense Ministerial in Brussels, the Pentagon said Thursday.
According to a statement from the Pentagon, Carter and Soreide discussed the U.S.-Norwegian defense partnership, commitment to the Very High Readiness Joint Task Force (VJTF), and European security.
