French President François Hollande met at the Elyse Palace here today with Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense. At the outset of the reception, the French President welcomed the Saudi Deputy Crown Prince, asserting the importance of the close relations between the kingdom and France. For his part, the Deputy Crown Prince conveyed greetings and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the French President, who asked the Deputy Crown Prince to convey greetings and regards to the king. During the audience, they reviewed bilateral relations between the kingdom and France and means to enhance and consolidate them, especially in the domains of scientific and technological cooperation, in the domain of investment, cooperation in the fields of peaceful use of nuclear energy and the industrial arena, and promotion of exports between the two countries, in addition to discussing developments related to the regional situation and efforts exerted towards tackling them and a number of issues on the international stage. The audience was attended by Minister of Economy and Planning Eng. Adel bin Ahmed Faqih, Minister of Commerce and Industry Dr. Taufiq bin Fozan Al-Rabia'ah, Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Adel bin Zaid Al-Toraifi, Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Isa, Minister of Health Eng.
