At least six policemen were killed when rebels attacked their outpost in northern Afghanistan, a local official said Tuesday, according to dpa. Zabet Noorullah, a police official in the northern province of Kunduz, said the incident occurred in Chahar Dara district Monday night. He said seven rebels were also killed during six hours of combat. "The police outpost and four villages fall into rebel hands," he said. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
