U.S. stocks closed higher Wednesday as encouraging Greece headlines boosted investor sentiment amid a slight pause in the dollar and yield climb. The Dow Jones industrial average added 121.75, or 0.67 percent, to 18,163.29. The broader Standard & Poor's 500 index climbed 19.28, or 0.92 percent, to 2,123.48. The technology-heavy Nasdaq composite index rose 73.84, or 1.47 percent, to 5,106.59. The dollar gave back early gains to trade mildly higher, with the euro trading just below $1.09. Light sweet crude oil for July delivery fell 52 cents to $57.51 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, while gold futures dropped $1.30 to $1,185.60 an ounce.
