South Korean President Park Geun-hye will meet with President Barack Obama in Washington next month, the White House said Tuesday, according to dpa. The talks between the leaders "will underscore the strength and breadth of the US-Republic of Korea partnership and demonstrate the close personal ties between the US and Korean people," spokesman Josh Earnest said. The talks will include security, economic and global matters, including North Korea, trade between the US and South Korea and environmental, health and cybersecurity issues, the White House said. Park's visit on June 16 will be her second to the White House following a formal state visit in 2013.
