In answering a question on Iran's participation in the Geneva conference to resolve the Yemeni crisis, Ambassador Al-Maalami said that Iran is not a GCC member, not a member of the League of Arab States, not a neighbor of Yemen and not a permanent member of the Security Council and so why should we invite it? and so why should we not invite Brazil and other countries? and so why should we invite it to the conference. For his part, the Yemeni ambassador stressed that Iran has no role in the next Geneva conference and we will not invite.
