Spokesman of the US State Department Jeff Rathke on Monday said that the coalition countries exercised restraint during the truce that lasted five days despite the continued Huthi shelling of the Saudi territories. Jeff Rathke's remarks came during the daily press briefing in response to a question about the Houthis' responsibility for not extending the truce. He said, "The Houthis shelled the Saudi territory several times during the truce and the Saudi-led coalition exercised restraint during the cease-fire that enabled the entry of food, fuel and humanitarian aid to Yemeni citizens."
