The US State Department confirmed that the United Nations-led-dialogue, GCC initiative and Yemeni national dialogue outcomes are essential political elements to find a political solution to the political issues in Yemen. In a daily press briefing, the spokesman of the US State Department Jeff Razqui said that all these elements are in line with Security Council resolutions to move forward with respect to the need to address the political issues. The truce announced by Saudi Arabia-led coalition refers to a desire to continue the cease-fire if the conditions are appropriate and all parties are committed to the ceasefire agreement, he said. "We have come to know that the coalition pointed out in its statement that several breaches of the cease-fire have occurred, including launching a missile on the Saudi border, and we know that the Kingdom reported such incidents to the United Nations", he said. He pointed out that the coalition confirmed its full commitment to the humanitarian truce and self restraint, stressing that his country continues to urge all parties to continue exercising self restraint and continue to observe the cease-fire terms.
