The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud briefed the Cabinet's session at Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh on Monday afternoon on the phone call with President Barack Obama of the United States of America during which they affirm deep, strategic and historical relations between the two friendly countries and their keenness on strengthening them in all fields. - The King expressed his thanks and appreciation to President Barack Obama and leaders and heads of delegations of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab states for what has been achieved by Camp David meeting of positive results and the joint commitment to a strategic partnership between the United States and the Gulf Cooperation Council for Arab States to build closer relations in all fields, including cooperation in defense and security fields. -The Cabinet stressed the joint statement issued after the meeting of the leaders and heads of delegations of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States with the President of the United States of America at Camp David and its assurances to consolidate the strong partnership and cooperation between the two sides, and developing collective solutions to regional issues to enhance mutual interest in stability and prosperity. - The Cabinet expressed its thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his announcement and patronage of the founding ceremony of King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Works and the inauguration and laying the foundation stone for the Center's permanent headquarters. -The Cabinet commended the King's announcement to allocate one billion riyals to the relief and humanitarian works of the Center, in addition to his directive to allocate more than one billion riyals in response to the humanitarian and relief needs of the Yemeni people. - The Cabinet welcomed the convening of Riyadh Conference for Saving Yemen and Building the Federal State under the patronage of Gulf Cooperation Council for Arab States, expressing its hope that our brothers in Yemen reach an agreement to achieve Yemen's security, stability and the aspirations of its people within the framework of adherence to legitimacy and stopping the coup against it. - The Cabinet denounced the violation of the humanitarian truce by Houthi militias through repeated attacks on the borders of the Kingdom and inside Yemen since the truce came into force on Tuesday, commending the full commitment of the leadership of the coalition to the humanitarian truce and self-restraint. - The Cabinet congratulated the King on what he enjoys of appreciation from various Islamic, Arab and international circles, noting in this regard his awarding of the Medal of Arab Parliament of the First Class for his courageous and humanitarian positions towards the Arab region in general and the Republic of Yemen in particular. - The Cabinet stressed the King's speech during his meeting with the Speaker of Arab Parliament that the Kingdom supports those who seek to unite the ranks of Muslims and Arabs, and looks forward to seeing all parts of the world dominated by peace, security and stability and their peoples enjoy a better life.
