A freight train has derailed in Germany, causing rail services between Frankfurt and Paris to be closed down, a spokesman for rail operator Deutsche Bahn said on Saturday. According to dpa, no-one was injured in the incident, which saw several train carriages of a freight train derail near the town of Kaiserslautern. The reasons for the incident are being investigated. Travellers faced cancellations and delays, with many having to use rail replacement buses. It was unclear when rail services would resume between Frankfurt and Paris.
