General Mufti of the Kingdom Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Al-Sheikh, who is also Chairman of the Senior Ulema Commission, the Standing Committee for Religious Research and Ifta, today blessed the selection of Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, as Crown Prince and his appointment as Deputy Premier, Minister of Interior and President of the Council for Political and Security Affairs. He also invoked a blessing on the selection of Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, as Deputy Crown Prince and his appointment as Second Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and President of the Council for Economic and Development Affairs, offering them allegiance pledge upon the teachings of the holy Quran and instructions of Prophet Mohammed (pbuh). The General Mufti also urged all citizens to pledge allegiance to whoever chosen by the leader of the nation, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, reminding pledge allegiance payers that they could report to their governorates or even vow it by heart. He wished the two leading officials every success and the nation to benefit from the royal orders issued earlier today.
