The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is participating in the work of the second meeting of the heads of the agencies responsible for protecting integrity and anti-corruption in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab States , which opened in the Qatari capital Doha today. Dr. Khalid bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Mohaisen, President of the National Anti-Corruption Commission headed the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia participating in the two-day meeting. The agenda of the meeting includes a number of important issues, foremost among them, joining of the GCC as a regional organization to the United Nations Convention against Corruption, proposed by the Commission previously, as well as the adoption of the draft guiding principles for the exchange of experiences and expertise between the bodies and organs of the fight against corruption in the Gulf Cooperation Council, and the study of proposal for preparation of a pilot unified law for the protection of public funds of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
