French forces free Dutch hostage in Mali

Dutch citizen Sjaak Rijke held hostage by a terrorist group since 2011 was freed on Monday by French military forces during a special operation, the French defence ministry said, according to Reuters.
The ministry said French forces also captured several people during fighting.
