The experimental operation of Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah will be postponed to Sunday, Jumada II 23, 1436 H, corresponding to April 12, 2015, after it was scheduled for tomorrow, on Sunday. A statement issued today by the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) stated that the postponement was decided due to the affected air traffic in most of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's airports by the dust storm that swept regions of the Kingdom, in addition that CAGA is keen to achieve a complete success for the operation of the airport. The airport trial run will be for a limited period, until the official inauguration and opening of the airport.
