Secretary General of the Makkah-based Muslim World League (MWL) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsen Al-Turki arrived today in the Cambodian capital of Phnom Penh to lead his organization's delegation to the opening of the "Islam and the Message of Peace and Tolerance" symposium, organized by MWL in collaboration with the Islamic Association in Cambodia. At the airport, he was received by the Deputy Chief of the Saudi diplomatic mission in Vietnam Thamer Humoud Al-Seeb, Chairman of the Islamic Association Sheikh Mohammed bin Marwan and senior officials. In an arrival statement, Al-Turki highlighted the aims of the symposium, saying that a number of papers will tackle the issues of Muslims and tolerance, importance of co-existence, fraternity in Islam, rejection of violence and extremism, Islam and religious dialogue and the role of institutions in enhancing peace in society. He extended thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his crown Prince for their support for MWL's activities.
