The Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Adel bin Zaid Al-Toraifi, paid a visit today to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA)'s new headquarters, which is about to be completed. He was accompanied by SPA's President Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein. During the visit, he was briefed by Al-Hussein and the supervising engineer on the progress of construction work, which reached 80%. The minister paid a visit to SPA's current headquarters, and was briefed on the material facilities, including the state-of-the-art technical capabilities and the human resources running the editing process in all departments, including the news desks, computer and training centers, and photo transmission department. The minister instructed the personnel of the Saudi news agency to work for further improving the work of SPA, using advanced technological equipment and highly skilled manpower to take its place among the world's best authenticated news outlets, wishing them every success.
