Senior Scholars: Decision of Kingdom, Gulf states, participating countries to start military operation in Yemen to protect legitimate government, defend its people is fit, wise
General Secretariat of the Council of Senior Scholars said that the decision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its sister Arab Gulf states and the participating countries with them to start the military operation "Determination Storm" in sister Yemen to protect the legitimate government and defend the dear people of Yemen, who are suffering from the seizure of their land, destruction of their property and undermining of their stability by the forces of the Huthi militias backed by regional powers which have ambitions and sabotage projects in the Arab countries is a fit and wise decision supported by the higher interests of the country of the Two Holy Mosques, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; the Gulf States; the Arab region; and the Islamic world, which have interest in Yemen's stability and unity and interest in the security of the Land of the Two Holy Mosques, which constitutes security for the entire Muslim world and lives at the heart of every Muslim and Muslims in all the world are against anyone who tries to undermine its security. Secretary General of the Council of Senior Scholars Sheikh Dr. Fahad bin Saad al-Majid said that senior scholars have already declared the Huthi group as a terrorist group that does not want good for Yemen and Muslims in its statement dated on 19/11/1435 AH. He added that the recent undermining of Yemen's stability and security and the confiscation of its decision and its institutions by this group is strong evidence supporting the decision of the senior scholars on this terrorist group. He stated that Muslims in the whole world, institutions and nations, are called on to support this military operation "Determination Storm" in order to achieve its legitimate objectives based on the duty of supporting the people of sister Yemen and preserving the stability and security of the country of the Two Holy Mosques, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the Arab region so as to prevent using Yemen as a tool by external forces that have not ceased their tampering with security and stability of Yemen. He prayed to Allah Almighty for fulfillment of the duty of brotherhood and neighborhood, safety from evil, right decisions and targeting, protection of our country and the Muslim countries and restoration of Yemen's unity, stability, security and prosperity.
