Governor of the Yemeni province of Shabwa Ahmed Bahaj called on Arab states to enhance Arab cooperation, rescue Yemen from the Houthi outlawed militias and stop their rebellion against the leadership and people of Yemen. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, Bahaj said the Yemeni people is in need to logistic support from the Arab countries to ward off the Houthis who receive support from those who are anti to legitimate President Abdrabbo Mansour Hadi to further destabilize the country. He said enemies of Yemen are circulating rumors on social electronic media to dismantle the country, create despair among the Yemeni people and implant horror in their hearts and skepticism about the pro-Hadi forces which confront the Houthi aggression in Aden.
