The Saudi-Chinese Joint Committee headed by the Minister of Finance Dr. Ibrahim Al-Assaf and Chinese Commerce Minister Gao Hucheng, currently on a visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, concluded its 5th session here today. In a press statement, Dr. Al-Assaf hailed the Committee's talks, stressing that the bilateral trade volume between the two countries reached more than $ 71 billion. He said that what has been achieved in the past period between the two countries was not possible without the joint efforts at the highest levels, asserting that the recent visit of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to China when he was then Crown Prince had a significant impact on pushing these relationships to very advanced levels.
