Prince Talal bin Badr bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Arab Sports Council, who is also Chairman of the Executive Bureau for the Arab National Olympic Committees Federation and Major General Jibril Al-Rajoub, Chairman of the Palestinian National Soccer Union, met with Joseph Sepp Blatter, the President of FIFA, in Zurich today. In a statement, Prince Talal bin Badr said a number of issues of concern to Arab soccer, particularly the Palestinian sports in general and Palestinian soccer in particular, were discussed. He said the meeting, authorized by the Executive Bureau for Arab National Committees Federation, demanded that the issue of the Palestinian soccer be discussed in the FIFA Executive Bureau on 19-20 March, 2015. He added that he delivered a message from Prince Abdullah bin Musaed bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Sports Union for Islamic Solidarity, another message from Prince Turki bin Khalid, Chairman of the Arab Soccer Federation, and another a third one from the Arab Olympic Committees Federation, all demanding that the Israeli authorities be coerced to abide by the FIFA regulations and stop violating the Palestinian football activities, the abrupt arrest of Palestinian athletes, demolishing of sports facilities, preventing foreign coaches and experts from entering the country and confiscating sports appliances going to Palestinian sports clubs and organizations.
