The Saudi-German Business Forum was held here today. It was organized by the Saudi Chambers of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Saudi-German Contact Office for Economic Affairs and the German Business Initiative for North Africa and the Middle East. It was held in the presence of President of the Council of Saudi Chambers, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Zamil and German Vice Chancellor and Minister of Economic Affairs and Energy Sigmar Gabriel and more 120 representatives of German companies. Speakers at the forum highlighted economic cooperation between the two countries. The forum came in the framework of 19th Joint Economic Committee meetings in Riyadh and discussed cooperation in the fields of energy, transport, industry and infrastructure. During a session of the forum, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources and President of the Saudi program for energy efficiency, gave a presentation on goals and vision of the Saudi program for energy efficiency aiming at raising the level of energy efficiency. 15:13 LOCAL TIME 12:13 GMT تغريد
