A symposium has been held within the cultural activities of Riyadh International Book Fair on the efforts of late King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (May Allah bestow mercy upon his soul) in dialogue among followers of religions and cultures. The speakers noted that the King's initiative for dialogue has turned into King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Center for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue to achieve communication and coexistence among peoples of the world. The speakers included the Secretary General of King Abdullah Center for Dialogue among Followers of Religions Dr. Faisal bin Abdulrahman bin Muammar, President of Islamic-Christian Dialogue in Lebanon Mohammad Al-Sammak, the Secretary General of the Organization of Religion for Peace William Findley,South Arican Journalist and Novelist Norid Kumalo; Ambassador of Culture in South Africa Batadoh Umm Toya; Deputy Minister of Culture and Arts in South Africa Thiabi Sikoti; and Lecturer at the University of Umm Al-Qura Dr. Nadiah Khundanah.
