The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia signed with the Republic of Bangladesh the bilateral agreement to regulate the process of recruitment of domestic labor during a visit by a Saudi delegation representing the ministries of labor, interior and foreign affairs. During the visit, the two sides met and reviewed joint efforts and verification procedures of Bangladesh organization of sending its their workers abroad. In a statement today, the Labor Department said that the signing ceremony took place on Monday in the Bangladeshi capital, Dhaka, and representatives of the private sector of the two countries agreed that monthly salary shall be 800 riyals for the Bangladeshi workers, while the Saudi Labor Department will control the recruitment costs.
