An American and a Russian who clocked world records while traveling in a gas-filled balloon across the Pacific Ocean landed safely in Mexico on Saturday, dpa reported. Pilots Troy Bradley of the US and Leonid Tiukhtyaev of Russia - known as the Two Eagles balloon team - landed just off the Baja coast near La Poza Grande, according to an announcement on the team's website. "The pilots made a controlled descent to a gentle water landing about four miles off the Baja coast. The balloon is stable and still inflated and the pilots are fine," the website read. -- SPA 19:38 LOCAL TIME 16:38 GMT تغريد
