The Interior Ministry warned of car purchases through websites, due to the emergence of new methods of fraud in the purchase of cars across those websites. Director of General Directorate for Public Relations and Media of the Interior Ministry, Major General Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Marol said that the Ministry of the Interior draws attention to what has been reached it from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs included the emergence of new methods that may expose citizens to scam operations after buying cars through websites, where the crook offers cars at an attractive price in order to attract the person who wants to buy a car, and then the seller would sign a fake contract with the victim after presenting forged documents and a bank account number which is usually in the name of a fictitious person or nonexistent foreign company.
