King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Center for the Service of Arabic language has extended the nomination grace period for the center's prize three more months, it was announced here today. Secretary General of the Center Dr. Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Washmi said the prize's commission has decided to extend for three months the pace for competitors to apply up to April 9, 2015. He said the commission was responding to appeals from a number of individuals and institutions who would like to have enough time to join. This year's prize was allotted for individual scientists titled "scientists' efforts in the field of educating Arabic Language for children" and the institutions prize titled "Arabic language education for non-Arabic speakers". Each prize fetches SR750,000 whereas candidates are advised to visit the commission's website prize.kaica.org.sa to apply.
