A dozen people were detained Friday in and around Paris on suspected links to terrorism, the Interior Ministery said, after a string of attacks last week left 17 people dead, dpa reported. With the country still on high alert, Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said about 122,000 police and soldiers were deployed across France and security remained tight at sites deemed to be sensitive, including synagogues and mosques. Nine men and three women were apprehended in the latest police raids, daily Le Monde reported. Police anti-terrorism units have been investigating possible accomplices in last week's attacks, including looking at whether the gunmen had people helping them with logistics. -- SPA 22:43 LOCAL TIME 19:43 GMT تغريد
