Kingdom confirms before the Security Council that the Palestinian issue is its first cause

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia confirmed that the Palestinian issue is its first cause.
It stressed that the Security Council can not abandon its responsibilities under any pretext, but has to take courageous decisions that ensure meeting the rights denied to the Palestinian people.
This came in a speech delivered by the kingdom yesterday by Permanent Representative of the Kingdom to the United Nations, Ambassador Abdullah bin Yahya Almoa'limi before the Security Council on the item of the situation in the Middle East.
On Syria, the ambassador expressed extreme concern about the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Syria calling for solving the crisis in Syria on the Geneva reference basis.
