The several-week-long Saudi national relief campaign to help Syrian refugees in Jordan continued its efforts to distribute winter-resistant items for the needy in refugee camps in several parts of Jordan, it was reported here today. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, Dr. Badr bin Abdulrahman Al-Samhan, the Regional Director of the Campaign, said the campaign targeted 450 Syrian families in its 20th stopover of a tour that took it to Syria and each of Jordan, Turkey and Lebanon. He said the campaign distributed blankets, jackets, children sets and other winter items over the winter-stricken refugees in Anjarah region, an affiliate of Ajloon Province. He confirmed that the assistance was emanating from the religious and humanitarian duty of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, towards its Muslim and Arab sister countries and peoples.
