A computer problem delayed more than 60,000 passengers due to fly with Australian budget carrier Jetstar on Saturday morning, a media report said. The technical glitch meant that check-in staff had to do the job manually using fax machines. "We are working hard to get customers to their destination," dpa quoted Jetstar chief executive David Hall as saying. Between 60,000 and 70,000 passengers were delayed and 15 flights were cancelled, Hall said. Jetstar said the computer problem had delayed flights for between 60 and 90 minutes. "The outage affected applications and systems used by our airport and flight crew to prepare for flights, slowing down our operations this morning," said Jetstar communications manager Michael Scott.
