The Competition Council announced that Abdul-Samad Al-Qurashi Shops Company for Oud, Amber and Perfumes (limited liability company) has submitted an application for merging with Abdul-Samad Fadhul Rahman Al-Qurashi Limited Company (limited liability company) and Abdul Samad Al-Qurashi Sons Factory for Oud and Cosmetics Limited Company (limited liability company). The council said in a statement today that Abdul-Samad Al-Qurashi Shops Company for Oud, Amber and Perfumes was founded in 1411 AH, having (100) branches with its major headquarters in Makkah, and the activities of the companies wishing to merge focus on wholesale, retail and manufacturing trade in Oud, amber, oriental perfumes, and aromatic oils. The annual spending on the trade of Oud and oriental perfumes in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia amounts to nearly six billion riyals.
