Russian President Vladimir Putin is hoping to boost business for his country's oil, gas, nuclear, diamond and defence industries during a visit to India Thursday, according to dpa. Putin, who arrived late Wednesday, is scheduled to hold talks with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, after which a number of agreements are expected to be signed. The two countries are due to seal 20 agreements covering civil nuclear energy, defence and trade, IANS news agency reported.
