President of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Atambaev expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for financing the construction of five sophisticated and mobile medical clinics in a number of rural areas in Kyrgyzstan. This came in a ceremony held under the auspices of the president in Makkah yesterday within the framework of his visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The ceremony included the signing of the financing agreement of the five clinics in Kyrgyzstan between Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyz Republic and President of the Islamic Development Bank Group. The mobile clinic project in rural Kyrgyz is part of a program funded by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and executed by the Islamic Development Bank for the establishment of 75 mobile medical clinics in a number of Muslim countries and communities at a total cost of one billion Saudi riyals. The program seeks to provide basic medical services in poorer areas and contributes to the provision of medicines to the needy. Islamic Development Bank President Dr. Ahmad Mohammed Ali said in a statement on this occasion that the mobile clinic program, which was donated by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, includes Kyrgyzstan as well as Pakistan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan, Yemen and other countries in Asia.
