Hiring in the U.S. private sector slowed last month but was still at a solid pace, payroll processing firm ADP reported Wednesday. Companies added 208,000 jobs in November, the third consecutive month that hiring has topped 200,000. The ADP figures suggest that businesses remain confident enough in the economy and their customer demand to add workers despite weak overseas growth. The ADP report comes ahead of Friday's closely watched jobs data from the U.S. government. Analysts expect the report will show jobs growth of 230,000, including 228,000 in the private sector, and the unemployment rate unchanged at 5.8 percent.
