AlHijjah 7, 1435, Oct 1, 2014, SPA -- U.S. businesses continued hiring September, marking the sixth consecutive month of solid gains, according to a report Wednesday by a payrolls processor. ADP said private employers added 213,000 jobs last month, up slightly from 202,000 in August. Job gains above 200,000 are usually sufficient to lower the national unemployment rate. The ADP figures suggest that the government's more comprehensive labor-market report on Friday could show a rebound in hiring. Economists forecast that the government report will show 215,000 jobs were added in September, while the unemployment rate remained at 6.1 percent.
