U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Thursday welcomed an agreement by Burkinabe stakeholders to return to a democratic process following the recent constitutional crisis in the country. "The secretary-general commends all Burkinabe stakeholders for their sense of responsibility and for their willingness to engage in constructive dialogue," Ban's spokesman, Stephane Dujarric, told reporters. Ban congratulated the Burkina Faso government for agreeing to a one-year, civilian-led transition that would result in democratic elections in November 2015, according to Dujarric.
