Three West African presidents were due to arrive in Burkina Faso on Wednesday to press the country's new military leaders to hand over power to a civilian ruler within two weeks, the radio station Omega FM reported, according to dpa. The deadline was set by the African Union, which said it would impose sanctions on the West African country if it refused to comply. Senegalese President Macky Sall was due to land in Ouagadougou in the morning. His Nigerian and Ghanaian counterparts, Goodluck Jonathan and John Mahama, were expected to arrive later in the day.
