Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, received at his palace in Riyadh today President Dr. Ashraf Ghani Ahmedzai of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and his accompanying delegation. The Crown Prince and the Afghan President held a meeting during which the Crown Prince welcomed the Afghan President and his accompanying delegation to their second country, the Kingdom Saudi Arabia. For his part, Dr. Ashraf Ghani expressed his pleasure to visit the Kingdom and meet with the Crown Prince, stressing deep relations between the two brotherly countries, and highly appreciating the great support provided to Afghanistan by the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. During the meeting, they reviewed prospects for cooperation between the two brotherly countries, ways of enhancing them in all fields, and the latest developments at regional and international arenas. The audience was attended by Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Deputy Crown Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Second Deputy Premier, and Advisor and Special Envoy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques; Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Chief of General Intelligence; Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard; Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh region; and Saudi Ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Misfer bin Abdulrahman Al-Ghasseb.
