OIC Secretary General meets German Foreign Minister

AlHijjah 22, 1435, October 16, 2014, SPA -- The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Iyad bin Amin Madani met here today with the Foreign Minister of Federal Republic of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his accompanying delegation currently on an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, they discussed regional and international issues of common concern including the situation in the Middle East especially in Palestine; the situation of Muslim communities and minorities in non-Member States; combating terrorism and extremism; as well as the issue relating to the phenomenon of Islamophobia; in addition to exchanging views on ways and means to enhance bilateral relations between the two sides.
