AlHijjah 18, 1435, October 12, 2014, SPA -- The International Conference for Reconstruction of Gaza Strip started its works here today with wide international participation. Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs headed the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Conference. In his opening speech, Egyptian President Abdul-Fattah Al-Sisi said that the Conference held under the joint auspices of Egypt and Norway confirms the solidarity of all peoples with the people of Palestine in their distress and the provision of better and necessary support for their legitimate leadership and national government in their efforts to reconstruct the Gaza Strip which was and will remain an integral part of the State of Palestine looking forward to its independence.
