AlHijjah 09, 1435, October 03, 2014, SPA -- Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja today toured the site of the ministry and its affiliated bodies in the valley of Arafat where all pilgrims are set to attend until the sunset, a moment signaling the climax of Hajj. The minister's inspection visit is to follow up the progress of the ministry's plan to transmit live Hajj rituals and help foreign media representatives attending the event to do the same for their home media recipients. Dr. Khoja's first leg was the temporary Media Center in Arafat installed by the ministry at the disposal of home and foreign media to do their jobs efficiently. He was briefed on the advanced tools used in the facility as well as the story of developmental achievements in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in general, and the giant expansions of the two holy mosques and service developments at the other holy sites of Mina, Muzdalifah and Arafat on the outskirts of Makkah, in particular. At SPA headquarters, the minister was briefed by Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein, the President of the Saudi Press Agency, on the news activity, and modern technological devices used to transmit live the details of Hajj to the world.
