New coalition strikes target ISIS near Turkish border

AlHijjah 07, 1435, October 01, 2014, SPA -- The US-led coalition against ISIS
terrorist group carried out five airstrikes Wednesday near a besieged
Kurdish town on Syria's border with Turkey, a monitoring group said, according to dpa.
The strikes hit areas to the east and south-east of Kobane, where the
militants have been advancing against Kurdish defenders, said Rami
Abdel-Rahman of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
