Emanating from his keenness to create the appropriate atmosphere for pilgrims, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has issued his directives to benefit from ready sites of the building expansion and exterior northern, western, southern and eastern squares of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Project for Expansion of the Grand Holy Mosque. The King has also directed to provide the necessary services for the comfort of pilgrims including places for ablution, stairs, elevators, air-conditioning, lighting, sound, television surveillance and fire control systems, as well as the operation of the First Ring Road in Makkah partly and on a temporary basis after the completion of 67% of the work of the project. The King's directive also included benefiting from ready sites in the yard, the ground floor and the first floor, and the roof of the first and second phases of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Project to raise the capacity of Mataf (Circumambulation Site) This comes as an extension of the King's keenness and efforts in the service of Islam and Muslims, facilitation to pilgrims and creation of the appropriate atmosphere for them.
