Chinese President Visits Maldives

AlQa'dah 19, 1435, Sep 14, 2014, SPA -- Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Maldives on Sunday, officials said.
During his two-day trip, Xi will meet with his Maldivian counterpart, Abdulla Yameen, and the two are expected to sign several agreements, including one related to funding for the construction of a major bridge connecting an island to the capital, Male, dpa reported.
