King awarded honorary doctorate by Al-Azhar, received by Prince Saud Al-Faisal

AlQa'dah 13, 1435, Sep 8, 2014, SPA-- On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, received an honorary doctorate degree from the Cairo-based Al-Azhar in recognition of the King's role in the service of Islam and Muslims and his well-recognized positions towards the Islamic and humanitarian causes.
In a special ceremony, the prestigious certificate was given away to Prince Saud Al-Faisal. A documentary film on the role of Al-Azhar in the Islamic world was screened, explaining the justification of the award to the monarch.
